DEAR JANE by Kendall Ryan is LIVE!

I broke her heart ten years ago and left town.

She hates me, and rightly so. It doesn’t matter that the rest of the country loves me, that I’m a starting quarterback with a multimillion-dollar contract. Because when I look in the mirror, all I see is a failure who was too young—and too afraid—to fight for what I wanted.

But I’m not that guy anymore, and all I need is one shot to convince her.

He has no idea what happened after he left. And now I’m supposed to work alongside him like we don’t have this huge, messy history?

But I’m older now, wiser, and I won’t let anything stand in my way of doing a good job for this league. Not even one overpaid, arrogant player who thinks we’re going to kiss and make up.

News flash, buddy: I am over you.

I’m a big fan of Kendall Ryan and yet again she didn’t disappoint. Dear Jane is a second chance at love story, and we all know we love those! This was a story about two high school sweethearts who thought they would be together forever. But life got in the way.

When Wes went off to college to play football leaving behind his high school sweetheart, little did he know that years later he would be returning to the person he left behind. Wes was a fine figure of a man, built to perfection and muscles to show for it. He deeply regretted what had transpired between them and hoped that Jane was happy and had moved on with her life.

Jane had always been a die-hard football fan, so much so that she now works for a team that her dad manages. She was living and loving her life until she heard that a blast from the past was coming back to town to play for the team. Wes had been her first love and him leaving her had left her with a bitterness inside that had yet to disappear. It was going to be hard to let it go.

When the time came for them to meet face to face, they were happy to see each other. Okay, I lied! Wes was happy to see Jane, but Jane was not happy to see him and he couldn’t understand why she still felt bitter after all these years. Hence why reading this book will have all the answers to your questions.

The feelings they had for each other were still there. You may not see it, but you could definitely feel it. It was hard to ignore. Embarking on a relationship was the next step forward; however, someone got cold feet and took two steps back. And we can all guess who that was. Are these lovers destined to be together or forever apart?

This was a well written contemporary romance that continuously flowed throughout. The characters were well suited and a couple you could connect with. In fact, you’ll like them so much, you’ll want to become a cheerleader on the sidelines hoping they would both come together and find their happy after. Fingers crossed, eh! Congratulations to the author for once again, delivering an awesome read.

Today we are delighted to share BN Toler’s all-new contemporary romance, WHAT LIES BETWEEN (Where One Goes #2)

What Lies Between is the follow up novel to Where One Goes which is available now with a new cover.

At the core of it, life is a test—an opportunity to prove who we are; what we’re really made of. Short as it was, I’d like to think I lived my life well, that when people remember Ike McDermott, they remember he was a good man. When I look back, I’m proud of who I was.

Leaving behind the woman I loved was the hardest thing I’d ever done, and finding peace with the knowledge she was building a life with my brother after I moved on took a strength I didn’t know I had. But George and Charlotte were still alive. I wasn’t. Together, they forged on, and I was okay with that because I knew, one day, Charlotte and I would be reunited.

One day she would be mine.

All I had to do was wait.

Time works differently in the afterlife. Without any ties to the living, it doesn’t so much as slow, but stop altogether. There is no worrying about what is to come, there is only what is.
I didn’t know if four days, or fifty years had passed when I found Charlotte by our tree in my corner of the other side. All I knew was she was here, and I would never have to let her go. I finally had my reward for the life I’d lived.

But I’d soon learn Fate had other plans, and everything I believed about who I was would be tested once again. Only this time, I wasn’t so sure I could stay strong.

This time, I wasn’t sure I could be a good man.

Where do I start with this review? I have so many mixed emotions right now and my energy’s been zapped. That tells you something about the brilliant penmanship of Ms. Toler. I was reeled in and invested in the story from the first book in the series, Where One Goes. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the follow-up but right from the first chapter, I was hooked lock, stock and barrel. I’d only got to chapter four and already I had goosebumps. The overwhelming feeling of wanting to continue reading, that sense of apprehension because of how the words pulled at my heartstrings in yet another rollercoaster of a story, was immense.

This has a supernatural element and whilst I don’t normally venture into this genre, I couldn’t not dip my toes into the water. We have the same characters from book one and some brand-new characters to add an extra excitement to the story. Ike left the woman he loves behind and it was tough to let her go and build a life with his brother. They were still alive, he was not but he had hopes that one day they would be together again. Time knows no bounds in the afterlife and Ike has no concept of whether he will see Charlotte today or years down the line. Fate is a very funny thing and I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and that was no doubt a poignant part of this tale.

What Lies Between takes place three years after Where One goes with Charlotte and George living in marital bliss. Charlotte has a lot going on and she finds herself in a situation where she can’t help and resolve an issue she walks into. Poor George, he feels helpless watching his wife torture herself but he gives her as much support as he possibly can, holding her up and showing his love for her. Everybody is tested throughout this offering and the most important undertone to learn from it is love. Love conquers all in one way or another. There’s heartbreak and sadness; however, I had every faith the right outcome would come to make my heart calm down and not beat so wildly.

More often than not a follow-up is hard to live up to the first book in a series, but once again Toler has created a masterpiece. She’s developed every character with great interest, they all played an important part and every emotion was spun out of me. I could visualize the beauty created for the scenery as well as some of the darker sides that were portrayed. There were surprises and some connotations, but I can’t possibly mention those otherwise it will give the story away. I highly recommend everybody one-clicks. It’s five worthy stars from me.

New Cover-Same Beautiful Story

What happens when the very thing ruining your life ends up saving it?

I was never one to believe in spirits—until six years ago, when a bone-chilling accident changed my life…forever.

My name is Charlotte, but most people call me Char…and I have a special gift.

I talk to the dead.

Make no mistake, I can’t summon them. I’m only able to see and speak to the spirits that linger when they’re unable to crossover. They’re somehow weighted to the world with unfinished affairs. And for the last six years, I’ve relentlessly used my gift to help their lost souls.

But it’s come at a price. My life is dark. Feeling despondent, I’ve begun to give up. And in helping the dead, I’ve realized I haven’t allowed myself to live. With no money, no place to go, and most importantly… no hope, I’ve decided there is only one option—to end it all.

But fate is a funny thing. One minute, I’m about to leap to my death, and the next, I’m saved by Ike McDermott. The strong, striking soldier stopped me from putting an end to my despair. He’s the kind of man that smiles and brightens an entire room.

Sweet and gentle.

He is my savior.

And he’s dead.

We’ve made an agreement. He’ll help me find a place to stay and a new job if I’ll help him with his unfinished business so that he may crossover.

Ike’s unfinished matter involves his twin brother, George. George has been falling apart since Ike’s death and Ike has not been able to compel himself to crossover in peace until he knows George will be okay.

When I agreed to help, little did I know that I’d fall in love with the charming folks of Bath County, and…Ike and George McDermott.

Now, as both brothers own equal parts of my heart, I am faced with a cruel and unfair predicament. In saving George, I must let go of Ike.

But how does one let go of half of their heart?

haven’t started where one goes #1?
